Install Windows Vista With Only 256 mb of RAM

Want to perform the impossible with Windows Vista and install the operating system on systems with only 256 MB of RAM?

The question is why would you want to? Windows Vista crawls at 512MB RAM. Divide that by two and you get… an inoperable Windows Vista. And believe me, Vista has enough problems out of the box, you don’t need to cause yourselves any additional headaches.

There is in fact only one Windows Vista that is designed to run on systems with very limited resources. i.e Windows Vista Starter will run by default with 256MB of RAM, but this edition of the operating system will only be made available on emerging markets worldwide.

I tried to install windows vista in parallels with 512mb after that i tried to change the memory of the virtual pc to 256mb and its fast. Now Thts cool ;)

Run Multiple Instances of Google Talk

Google Talk, or as it is popularily known as GTalk, the widely used instant messenger which also allows users to make calls to other GTalk users as well is ever growing in terms of popularity.

Many users use GTalk to get notified of emails and scraps on popular social networking site Orkut, while some use it for plain talking. Most users have different email accounts to accomplish these tasks but GTalk can only be run in a single instance. This article deals with how you can make GTalk to run in multiple instances.

The procedure is outright simple. Open the properties window of the GTalk shortcut that you have placed either on the desktop or elsewhere. In the target box, type in /nomutex and click on OK.

Thats it! You are now able to run multiple instances of GTalk and login to as many accounts as you want.
